Student Planning Pointers for Parents

Dear College Savings Iowa account owner,

I want to share with you a new education resource offered by our program partner, Iowa Student Loan®, to Iowa families. Parents, grandparents and guardians of students in eighth through 12th grades can register for a new, free email service offered by Iowa Student Loan®.

To provide additional incentive, registered participants for the email service are automatically entered into quarterly drawings for contributions to your College Savings Iowa account.*

Iowa Student Loan’s email service is another resource to support Iowa families and their efforts to help their students plan for higher education options. Even during these trying times, it’s important to keep financially empowered and focused on saving for the future.

Iowa Student Loan’s SP3 – Student Planning Pointers for Parents –delivers twice-monthly emails based on the student’s grade level and time of year. Full of tips, tools and resources, the emailed information is designed to be simple and effective.

I know many students around the state need assistance when making a plan for life after high school, and I will be providing my own tips and information about College Savings Iowa as a part of these emails. For families who want to help their children and grandchildren succeed but aren’t sure where to start, this new resource will help fill that void and get families feeling more confident.

Interested? Sign up now at www.sp3.org, and don’t forget to share this information with the whole family.

Sincerely,

Michael L. Fitzgerald
